OUR STORY

I grew up with dogs and my wife has loved dogs ever since she could say the word dog. Fluffy Family Farms started as a quest for us to find the perfect dog for us.

I had fallen in love with the Sennenhund breeds from sending time in the Swiss Alps. The dogs were loyal companions, good-natured, calm, but athletic enough to hike about for intermediate distances.

My wife (also a lover of all things German) liked the idea of a Germanic breed but wanted something that would be low-shedding, train easily, and be a good family dog. After a year and a half of researching training, temperaments, genetics, health, development, and canine behavior, we found the best of both worlds in Bernedoodles.

There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our lovable fluff-balls with a family that will appreciate these amazing companions as much as we do. It’s why we take such care in doing what we do.

We’ve learned a lot about the process through research, networking, and experience. In our selection process, we focus on desirable traits in health, personality, and genetic markers to ensure you and your new fluffy companion share a happy life together.
